My Mother, Virginia Leipper was an avid collector of cookbooks. She accumulated recipe books from a variety of sources including those provided with new appliances, gifts from friends, and purchases. Often on our travels, she would pick up a regional cookbook or a souvenir book from some place we visited. She also inherited recipe books from her Mother and other family members. I have followed in her footsteps and amassed my own collection of cookbooks. This is a sample of some of our collection. The PDF documents contain the title cover, the table of contents, and a sample recipe from that book. I have included any pages that have the date the book was published.
The original 1950 edition is the cookbook we grew up with. Over the years we acquired a variety of Betty Crocker cookbooks. Click here for more Betty Crocker
