Betty Crocker Cookbooks

Betty Crocker cookbooks were the go-to recipe books in our family. We grew up learning to cook from the original 1950 Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook. These are the books that are part of the family collection of recipe and cookbooks.

We used the 1950 Betty Crocker cookbook for samples of our splatter and tatter test to indicate favorite recipes. The more splattered and tattered, the more likely it was a favorite recipe. On a one to ten scale, these samples rate a 10.
