In the 2003 print version collage picture pages were added at the beginning of the book. These pages included family cooks, chefs at work and one page each of Myrtle & Robert Leipper, Josephine & Bryan Harrison, and Virginia & Dale Leipper. These pages represented their lives together over several decades. The inspiration for these collages came from the creation of a special edition of the Family Recipe Book for Brittany Smith as a wedding present.

The 2003 print version also includes a family photo at the beginning and end of each chapter. These photos are of various family gatherings, usually where food was involved.

Note: I have not been able to decipher Dad's (Dale Leipper) method of dating photographs. Some dates are correct, some I know are not consistent with the image, others I am not sure. If you have any corrections on dates please pass them along. Email: family@leipper.org

Recipe book photos - A gallery of all the photos that are scattered throughout this document. Also includes some recently found photos that are not in the print version of the recipe book.

Images from the past - Discover how things were done in the 1800's. Among the treasures found in the Harrison family recipe collections was a book on the complete management of the home form the 1800's. This book includes recipes, meal preparation and planning, house cleaning, manners, laundry and pictures of kitchen implements. Selected images from this book are scattered throughout the Leipper Family Cook Book. This gallery also includes advertisements and other documents found in various family recipe boxes.
